All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test-AIAPGET-2019

AIAPGET-2019:

                    AIAPGET entrance exam is for the admission of MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy courses. National level computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted on the behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The examination will be held on 14 July 2019, Sunday.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidates in possession of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree or Provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act.

2. Candidates should possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities.

3. Candidates should have completed one year of internship or/are likely to complete the internship before the date of counseling can apply to the AIAPGET 2019. 

Application details:

Application to AIAPGET is only through online registration.

Online registration starts from 15 May 2019 and ends on 15 June 2019.

About examination fees:

1.       For General/OBC candidates: INR 2500
2.       For SC/ST/PWD/(PH) candidates: INR 1750

(Payment mode: By using  Credit Card or Debit Card issued by banks in India or through Internet Banking)
Note: Last date of the successful final transaction of the fee is 16 June 2019.
            Corrections in particulars of application can be done in the date of 20 June 2019 to 23 June 2019.

Admit Card: The admit card can be download from NTA website by 30 June 2019.

Exam Syllabus: The subjects of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree issued by CCIM/CCH.

Exam Pattern:

AIAPGET entrance exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT).

1.      Exam pattern: Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ)

2.      Duration: 90 minutes

3.      Number of questions: 100

4.      Maximum marks: 100

5.      For each wrong answer: 0.25 negative marks.
6.    Timings:10.00am to 11.30am.

Candidates can choose the city of examination center however the rights of allotment of exam centers are reserved with AIIA/MOA as they needed. Exam centers for options are as follows.

Instructions:

Candidates should report to the exam Centre at 8.00 A.M. After verifying candidate’s ID, Capturing of fingerprints, Capturing of a digital image, the test center administrator/the on duty, staff will guide the candidate to the assigned work station. This reporting time will be closed at 9.30 A.M.

For ID verification candidate must bring the following to the exam center:

1. Two copies of Admit card with latest passport size Photo Pasted on it. (One will be retained by the exam center) 

2. Original, Valid, non-expried document ID Proof as Mentioned during the process of registration.

Admission: After having qualified cut off the mark through AIAPGET, the candidate can apply to the counseling by the concerned state authorities/universities. While attending the counseling the candidate must possess AIAPGET mark sheet and all other original documents of UG degree, Internship certificate

The World Homoeopathy Day-April 10, 2019

                Today April 10, 2019, is celebrating as The World Homoeopathy Day - The 264^th birth anniversary of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the father and founder of Homoeopathy. He founded Homoeopathy in 1796. On this occasion, this post will be used to know the importance and uniqueness of Homoeopathy. Homoeopathy is based on the doctrine of like cures like (Similia similibus curentur). Which means that a drug capable of producing symptoms of a disease in healthy people would cure similar symptoms in sick people. Homoeopathy uses animal, plant, minerals, synthetic substances in its preparation of medicines. The process of potentisation/dynamization evolves the curative power of drug substance. The signs and symptoms of drugs are noted in the book called Materia Medica by healthy human drug proving. Homeopathic pills are made from an inert substance (often sugars, typically lactose), upon which a drop of liquid homeopathic preparation is placed and allowed to evaporate.
