Leucorrhoea:

           Leucorrhoea is a term used for whitish discharge from the vagina. Normal vaginal secretion develops physiologically during puberty, pregnancy, ovulation, menses due to estrogen imbalance. In this physiological condition, no need of treatment is required. In non-pathogenic conditions, leucorrhoea may occur from either cervical or vaginal origin. Due to infections, symptoms like lower abdominal pain, itching, discharge from the vagina, offensive odor, tissue inflammation, painful sexual act, burning urination, sometimes constipation occurs. Most infections are due to candidiasis, bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas vaginalis. In the case of candida fungal infection white vaginal discharge has a strong fishy odor. For investigation Swab test is done and sent for microscopy, culture, and sensitivity. The Pap test may be done at the same time to find out cervical cancer.

Case history: 

              A girl aged 23 years came with the complaint of pain in the lower abdomen. Since 6 years on and off she had a complaint of profuse whitish discharge from the vagina, itching in the genital area, mild odor discharge. She has alternate constipation and diarrhoea, burning urination. While attending prayer in the church her hands and legs used to trembled due to fear+ and she can’t able to complete her role. Every time she used to prepare well and try to convey her message to all. But on seeing crowd particularly men she can’t able to speak and ends her speech without completing. While asking for desire and aversions she craves sweets+. Twenty Eight days once menses were regular and last for 4 days and it will be in bright red color.

Prescription:

          Argentum nitricum 200 is given to this patient and waited for ten days. The whitish discharge had reduced. This is 2^nd week of treatment. The episode of pain in the lower abdomen was reduced. Burning urination nil. Normal stool. Continuing treatment, expecting favorable results.

Constipation:

           Constipation is not a disease. It is a symptom of altered bowel movements. Difficulty in passing stool, hard feces, bloating, abdomen pain are the symptoms experienced by patients in altered bowel habits.

Case History:

             Child aging 1 ½ years was taken to my clinic with his grandmother. He seems to be naughty. He slowly moved his hand forward to take my stethoscope when his grandmother scolded him he kept quiet. After few minutes he started to stand in a chair and jumped into nearby and he continues. He was so active and he can’t able to keep quiet+. Meanwhile, his grandmother started to narrate about his complaints. He has the complaint of difficulty in passing stool. While passing stool blood streaks were present. He uses to eat sand+. Can’t get rid of that habit. He used to break his new toys by striking to the ground+.

Prescription:

TARENTULA HISPANICA 200 1 dose weekly once for 3 weeks changed the boy’s bowel habits normal and too his behaviour

became calm.

Nocturnal Enuresis:
           

                      Nocturnal enuresis is also known as bed-wetting during sleep. Normally bladder control develops at the age of 2 to 4 years. Bed-wetting after the age of 5 years should be notable. Urinary incontinence is due to the lack of ability of the bladder to control.

Case history:

           A lady with her daughter came to my clinic. The girl sits with little hesitation. Her mother started to narrate her daughter's history...Patient X (age:13) has the complaint of involuntary urination at night time during sleep. The girl has the disgusting feeling of going to the toilet in her school because of the unhygienic surrounding. So she has the habit of delay emptying bladder. Actually, at childhood and all, she has the control but she had the complaints now only. She urinates involuntarily during her sleep at the time 10 P.M to 11 P.M.It occurs after she goes to deep sleep. She refused to accept that she had wet. Whitish discharge per vagina present. She is short tempered. While her mother narrating she feels irritated.Having desire for sour taste+,cold curd,cold food,pickles+,oranges+.Aversion to sweets+. 

Prescription:

           Causticum 1m has given on the first prescription. She had slight improvement but after episodes repeated.waited for 2 weeks. Then after persisting complaints Sepia 200 given. Episode frequency reduced. After repeating sepia 200 1dose she had nil complaints.
